How seed rolls work 🎲
You do not buy every seed from a shop. You roll for seeds, and Seed Luck shifts the odds toward rarer picks. Seed Rolls gives more attempts per action — more shots on goal, not higher odds per shot by itself. Maxing both is how people chase Mythic over time.
A new roll replaces your equipped seed unless you own Seed Lock. If you hit Rare or better, buy Seed Lock before rolling again. See beginner's guide for the full upgrade order.
Rarity tiers
Four tiers: Common → Uncommon → Rare → Mythic. Higher tiers usually pay more per harvest but take longer to grow — automation and sprinklers cover the wait later on.

The best crop for grinding Plant Mastery early. Low sell value but extremely fast growth means Mastery fills quickly. Farm Strawberry first before switching to higher rarities.
Solid early-game crop for building income while Sprinklers are being set up. Better sell value than Strawberry without much sacrifice in Mastery speed.
First meaningful upgrade past Common crops. Seed Lock immediately on roll. Good bridge between early and mid game — farm on Auto-Harvester while saving for Rare seeds.
Excellent AFK crop with Auto-Harvester. High sell value per harvest rewards the slow growth timer. A great stepping stone if you haven't rolled Mythic yet.
The endgame standard. Massively high sell value per harvest. Set up full automation, Seed Lock, and let it run AFK overnight. Pineapple Mastery + Star Mastery Tier 2 generates billions.

Instead of rolling once and getting one result, higher Seed Rolls levels give you 2, 3, or more simultaneous rolls — dramatically improving your chances of landing rare seeds per coin spent. It works best when combined with high Seed Luck levels.
What is Plant Mastery in Build A Farm Factory?
Plant Mastery is a per-crop progression system. Harvesting a crop repeatedly fills that crop's Mastery meter. When full, you earn a permanent sell price multiplier for that crop — it never resets. Completing Plant Masteries across multiple crops is required to unlock Star Mastery Tier 2, the most powerful income multiplier in the game.
What should I upgrade first in Build A Farm Factory?
The recommended upgrade order is: (1) Click Amount ×3, (2) Seed Luck ×2, (3) Seed Lock when a Rare seed drops, (4) Sprinkler Power once you own 2+ Sprinklers, (5) Seed Rolls after Seed Luck is established. This order maximises income at every stage of early progression.
